Hemp Recycles Project

It is often repeated that Hemp Paper can be recycled up to 8 times, compared to just 3 times for paper made from wood pulp.

But is that actually true? We are going to find out.

Help Fund Our Next Project

Your tax-deductible donations will impact and build this industry through science-based research and prove the benefits of industrial hemp.  Take a look below at some of the projects that are slated for funding.

Thank you for your support in advancing the industrial hemp industry!

H.E.M.P. Project

At Dewey Scientific, we have been given the opportunity to conduct a hemp growth experiment onboard the International Space Station (ISS). We will investigate the effects of microgravity on the development of the hemp plant, the oil-filled trichomes on the hemp flower, and the terpenes and cannabinoids produced within them. BioChar Research

The research on hemp biochar will investigate the benefits of biochar made with hemp as the feedstock. Biochar made using hemp wastes possesses characteristics like other biochars currently on the market for soil amendment applications (e.g., nutrient release and water retention). This fundraiser aims to fund scientific research that generates biochar from hemp waste not only as a solution for implementing a zero-waste and circular economy model but to test biochar’s characteristics in nutrient management and water retention. Desert Research Institute will conduct this research by students and professors.
